The Free French became a 3-piece for a night, playing with Crayola, Galen Sadko and Steve Beresford at the Betsy Trotwood, self-styled "smallest venue in London". Thus also the smallest audience.

The Free French plus HOST plus Star Bodixa at Metro, Oxford Street, for Rhodri's birthday bash. There was a tube strike, and attendance wasn't great.

Rhodri played new and "old" (well, they seem old to me) Free French songs on his own at "In The Line Of Fire" at The Enterprise, I supported Lach, but played after him, after everyone had gone home. Promoting genius.

Rhodri and Susannah stepped in at a few hours notice to support Spearmint at the Borderline. She played the Ron Mael to my Russell Mael. Except I had less hair, and she didn't have a moustache. Premier of "Talking Nepalese".
